Draw graph of this quadratic equation [tex]y=2x^2-3[/tex]. Any help?

First of all, we can made y value table with random x values. Don't take big numbers, because it will be difficult to drop them on the plane coordinate system. Here is our table:

\begin{array}{|c|c|c|c|c|c|} \hline

x & -2 & -1 & 0 & 1 & 2 \\\hline

y & 5 & -1 & -3 & -1 & 5 \\\hline

\end{array} Now we can drop the points from our table on the plane coordinate system and draw graph of quadratic function - parabola.
