Basic set labels and meanings

Example of set: [tex]A=\{1;2;3;4\}[/tex] or [tex]B=\{0;1;2;3;4;5\}[/tex]. Complement: [tex]A'[/tex]. Proper subset: [tex]A\subset B[/tex]. Empty set: [tex]\varnothing[/tex]. Union of sets: [tex]A\cup B[/tex]. Intersection of sets: [tex]A\cap B[/tex]. Difference of sets: [tex]A\setminus B[/tex].
